Tabula Rasa

Tabula Rasa

According to Wikipedia (the source of all that is true), tabula rasa “refers to the epistemological thesis that individuals are born without built-in mental content and that their knowledge comes from experience and perception.”

Here’s the Sarah #1 definition: Tabula Rasa means “clean slate” – i.e. “okay, let’s try this again.”

So here’s to a tabula rasa kind of a start to a new week, a tabula rasa kind of start to a new month.

Okay, let’s try this again.

Peace.

Dude, Mondays suck. Especially this Monday. I commend you for trying to actually something of them. I walked into work today and said “Self, let’s pretend we’re Sarah (the other one)and make today awesome.” Then work got overwhelming and that went out the door.

Also, there’s an episode of Lost named Tabula Rasa. Just a little fact for you there.
